What counts as a verified hire?
A hire is verified when the hiring manager marks the candidate as hired in Credora and the 60-day probation period is confirmed. All fees and the referrer payout are triggered at that point.
Do I pay anything if a referred candidate doesn't get the job?
No. Fees only apply when a hire is confirmed. Reviewing candidates, running AI scans, and managing the queue are all free on the Starter plan.
How does Credora's pay-on-hire pricing work?
When a hire is confirmed, companies pay two things to Credora: (1) a success fee of 5% of the hire salary (minimum $500), and (2) a referral platform fee of 25% of whatever payout you've configured for that referrer. The referrer payout itself goes directly from you to the referrer — the 25% is an additional fee on top of that, not deducted from the referrer's amount. Example: $150k hire with a $1,000 referrer payout → $7,500 success fee + $250 referral fee = $7,750 total to Credora. The referrer receives their full $1,000.
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
